About the Record of Achievement (ROA)
The Record of Achievement (RoA) is a TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) transcript that lists all of the TTNVQs (Trinidad and Tobago National Vocational Qualifications) and CVQs (Caribbean Vocational Qualifications) passed by a graduate over his or her years of training.
The TVET transcript therefore collates all of the training information of the graduate’s skills, knowledge, and capabilities achieved in the skilled areas pursued during the period of training. It shows the outcome of the Units of competency completed in each skilled area, serving to give a deeper understanding of the certification attained by the graduate.
The development of the record of achievement for the TTNVQ/CVQ graduates is facilitated through the main Information Technology platform known as the TVET Control Centre, accessible at https://ntatvetcentre.org/.
The TVET Control Centre is a database that houses all records of government’s TVET qualifications. It maintains the graduates’ records of completed TTNVQs and CVQs, as well as Units of competency awards.
In the Record of Achievement, you will see:
The name of the organization issuing the certificate (i.e. NTA)
The name of the candidate/graduate
The candidate/graduate identification number used during his/her studies
A list of the qualifications (TTNVQs and CVQs) attained
The title of the skilled areas completed (e.g. Building Construction Drafting)
The Levels of the TTNVQs and CVQs attained
