This labour market skills assessment focused on both primary production and agro-processing activities due to their role in supporting the government’s national developmental strategy and in making Trinidad and Tobago a food secure nation. Transitioning TVET programme delivery to online / blended learning modalities became critical to enable programme continuity during the COVID 19 pandemic. The NTA’s Research, Planning and Development Department embarked on a survey of TVET Training Providers during the period January to March 2021 to assess the readiness of TVET Providers for online/blended learning in thirteen (13) key areas .
